Reformer and equipment classes
- Offers a variety of classical and more innovative exercise and movements

What to expect
The reformer is the most popular piece of the pilates apparatus. It uses resistance in the form of springs providing feedback and support when moving the body. The different exercises performed on the reformer will help you improve your body awareness, work from the core, enhancing strength, flexibility and stability.
- Beginner and healthy back classes are designed to provide the tools to feel at ease and comfortable with the equipment.Your teacher will be more hands on providing cues on how to improve your technique. Choose this class if you are new to the equipment, work on your proficiency with the pilates method and/or you are recovering from an injury or suffer from shoulder, hip or back pain.
- All level classes are designed to challenge further your coordination, flexibility and stamina. They are perfect to complement your other activities such as running, cycling and/or weight lifting in the gym. This class is run at a moderate pace and requires certain knowledge of the equipment.
- Jumpboard/cardio classes are intermediate to advance. You need to be injury free and even though we bring the heart rate up utilising the jumpboard and faster pace exercises, the emphasis remains in alignment and form. This class will challenge your coordination, body awareness and core control.
During the classes your teacher may introduce you to other apparatus such as the Tower, spine correctors, Wunda Chair, magic Circle, and other props. Training with various pieces of equipment will enrich your training and enhance body awareness.
Results
When regular classes are held, you will be able to be more precise with your movement, becoming more efficient with the way that you utilise your body. You will perceive an increase of flexibility and stability as well as better posture. The equipment offers great support to move the body should you be recovering from an injury or suffer from back pain.
Mat pilates classes

During the classes your teacher may introduce you to other apparatus such as the Tower, spine correctors, Wunda Chair, magic Circle, and other props. Training with various pieces of equipment will enrich your training and enhance body awareness.
What to expect
Mat pilates is a low impact series of exercise focusing on core control and strength. The routine performed uses your own body weight and small props for resistance and helps to improve flexibility, body awareness, balance and muscle strength.
During the classes your teacher may introduce you to other apparatus such as the Tower, spine correctors, Wunda Chair, magic Circle, and other props. Training with various pieces of equipment will enrich your training and enhance body awareness.
The sessions may include the utilisation of overball, resistance bands, blocks, magic circles and other appropriate props to add variety and extra challenge. The overall aim is to break down functional movements to support daily activities and reduce the risk of injury.
Results
With regular practice you will build core strength, improve balance and create awareness on how the body moves allowing you to move more efficiently.
